Protector support charity bike ride

March 05 2015

We are really pleased to be supporting a local charity bike ride.

A group of local Newcastle United supporters will soon take on the task of cycling 186 miles to the away fixture at Liverpool. Planning to take 3 days, the ride is intended to raise money for local 18-year-old James Smith who has duchenne muscular dystrophy and is confined to a wheelchair.

James is a technological whizzkid, and the money raised will go towards the purchase of house adaptations and computer equipment.

We stepped in to support and provide transport back to Tyneside from Liverpool.
