Protector has recently taken on two University students to add to it’s ongoing commitment to developing young talent within the company. The students were approached through Newcastle University’s ‘Work Experience’ programme which presents SMEs in the North East with the fantastic opportunity to utilise the skills of one of the university’s talented under & postgraduate students within a project based work placement.
As part of the Newcastle Work Experience’ programme, students can undertake one hundred hours work experience over a flexible period of three to four month period. The two students will contribute to different types of activity, with one focusing on Marketing and Social Media and the other Electrical Engineering.
Joint Managing Director of Protector, Ken Slater said “these are exciting times at Protector for anyone joining the business, we are delighted to have found two top class students from one of the regions top universities. I am sure they will prove a great success and bring new thinking and ideas to the Protector Group”
